The 2023 SwellTech trucks are designed to mimic the movement of a surfboard by having a completely free motion front truck, with a more rigid standard truck in the rear. The free motion front truck mimics the unlimited movement of a surfboard -pump for speed and turn in any direction- while the rear truck acts as a stabilizing pivot point, like the fins in a surfboard.
Our trucks are under Lifetime Warranty; break a part and we will ship and replace them for free.
HYBRID SERIES: The Hybrid model is our mid-length deck. The Hybrid has the same deck width as our larger Premiere, but with a snub nose and wider kick tail. The Hybrid deck has an aggressive concave that adds stiffness and durability – great for skating pools, or high speed carving.
We recommend this deck to riders who are 5’2” to 6’ or 158-182cm tall. *Note, These heights are only suggestions, any rider can shred any board*

Got mine yesterday and was pumping and getting some little slides in pretty quickly. I was able to practice stuff uncountable times in an hour that I might get 4 or 5 tries at at my local break when it’s crowded if I’m lucky. I love it! I thought it might be a bit sketchy from other reviews around but I didn’t find that at all. I’ve only ever surfed though, not a skater, maybe that’s the difference. Great work out too. And arrived super fast. Well happs

Got this board last year. It’s my 2nd Surfskate board. I love it. It’s a little stiffer than the original V-Truck I have on my Premier Blackout board. It’s super responsive and generates speed really easy when pumping. When carving up and down driveways, blowing out the tail, or doing a layback it always requires surfing form/position or I pay for it and eat it hard. Thats why I like it so much, it’s not for skating, it’s for surfing when you can do it in the water. I have only surfed, never rode a traditional skateboard.

I got this board about 6 months ago and it is AMAZING this feels exactly like a surfboard and has massively improved my surfing. My only criticism is that the springs are weak and break quite often, in my 6 months two springs have broken and they are a pain to fix. Other than that my SurfSkate is amazing and well worth the purchase.
