No waves? Our SwellTech system will improve your surfing before the next swell hits. Our SwellTech trucks are designed to mimic the movement of a surfboard by having a completely free motion front truck, with a more rigid standard truck in the rear. The free motion front truck mimics the unlimited movement of a surfboard -pump for speed and turn in any direction- while the rear truck acts as a stabilizing pivot point, like the fins in a surfboard.

Our trucks are under Lifetime Warranty; break a part and we will ship and replace them for free.

Our original deck, the Premiere, now has a longer wheelbase at 23.5 inches! The longer wheelbase now allows a rider to spread their feet to match their actual stance on their surfboard. Having the ability to cross-train in your real surf stance maximises the fluidity between surfing and skating, and will allow you to get your practiced land maneuvers onto waves with greater ease.

We recommend the Premiere to riders 5’8”-6’4” or 173-195 cm tall. *Note, These heights are only suggestions, any rider can shred any board*

    Never been surfing before decided to pick longboarding back up after a few years took some time for me to get used to how free the front truck moves but carving feels amazing on it and it’s very fun to watch other people ride it because it takes some time to learn how to ride it

    This board rocks. It was my first Surfskate. I have the V-truck springs for this, not the swelltech springs. It’s super lose and really fun. Rides just like surfing. It’s a really good work out too. A couple laps up and down the street hitting all the neighbor’s driveways and my quads are burning. My kids love it too. They aren’t flying up and down drive ways yet but any chance they have to get on it they do.

    This is the best board I’ve bought so far. I’m french and we don’t get to see a lot of those on local shops, so I went all in and had it shipped across the ocean. And I’m glad I did !! Just a tiny detail : after 6 months a front spring broke. These cost 2$ for 3, so you might wanna buy some

    Received my Premier Blackout in June and can’t stop riding it. Easily the most fun I’ve had on a skateboard. I’m not a surfer, and my previous surfskate experience is limited but I’m glad I found Swelltech and will likely add one of the Hybrids to my quiver this fall or next year. The flow of this board is dreamy and it’s easy to lose track of time on it, even in a flat lot or street.
    I highly recommend decks with the traction pad, especially if you’re used to a kick tail. It’s not same, but it feels familiar, and in my opinion it greatly helps you pump with your back leg. It’s also more comfortable when riding barefoot, which I’ve started to prefer when I’m not using a lot of speed or going long distance.

    I have been surfing and skateboarding for 45 years. My first Surfskate was the Penny and it was very easy to pump and carve. However, the narrow stance was not accurate to real surfing, and cannon ball cutbacks I would sometimes lose control. Now, when the SwellTech arrived I didn’t like it, (just could not pump it correctly) but after loosening both trucks from factory setting and adjusting my stance, the board took off. I like the wide stance I can have on the SwellTech as this makes me feel like I am on my surfboard. No Jack knife issues as I was warned about, but that might be because I surf and hate pearling. (who likes that?) The wider stance also allows better “cannon ball cutbacks” that are smooth. My friend noticed the difference in that area. Good product. Good price.
